Albion Area Public Library in Albion PA, has an opening for a part-time Library Director. This position requires grant writing, programming, collection development, cataloging, and fiscal management skills. The Director provides staff support to the Library Board of Directors by assisting with meetings, preparing reports, and implementing policy decided by the Board. Applicants should have effective relationship building and community engagement skills to facilitate resource development. The strong candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills when working with the public, staff, and local community leaders and businesses. The candidate should also have high level organizational skills, as well as verbal and written communications. Associates Degree in any field required. Ability to earn a Library Assistant Certification also required. Timeline and reimbursement for certification negotiable. Strong computer skills, including social media, are also desirable.
